Hawaiian Monk Seal Release on Laysan Island, 2019

Two underweight juvenile seals were collected from Laysan Island in 2018 and rehabilitated at The Marine Mammal Center's Ke Kai Ola in Hawai'i. Named Maiapilo and ʻĀkulikuli, they were released back to Laysan in June 2019.
